StageCraft 2018
The eleventh Conference of Community Theatre was held in Sydney on the 22nd and 23rd of September 2018 at NIDA, The National Instutute of Dramatic Art, in Kensington NSW.
The very successful weekend of 2 days of Conference and Workshops and a dinner on Saturday night, was attended by 145 persons.
Six Community Theatre participants were elected to the Community Theatre "Hall of Fame" at the Dinner. A photo of the 6 will be added below soon and full details of each new electee will be added to the "Hall of Fame" link in due course.
Hall of Fame Awards 2016
The Association of Community Theatre was proud to inaugurate three new members into its Hall of Fame for outstanding service to the sector.
Patron Nancye Hayes AM presented the awards at ACT's Stagecraft 2016 conference dinner held at the Bonnie Doon Golf Club.

ACT Conference 2012 was a huge success
Conference: More than 140 people attended the Stagecraft conference on July 14 and 15 at N.I.D.A.
On Saturday night we inaugurated four new members into our Hall of Fame by our special guest star John Wood.
Congratulations to Walter Moore ( Chester Street Theatre), Stella Dougherty ( Griffith ), Christopher and Jayne Hamilton ( Various).
New Hall of Fame Members
Three men and one woman with a combined involvement of 200 years of outstanding service to community theatre have been honoured at a dinner presided over by Music Theatre superstars Nancye Hayes and Simon Gallaher.The Association of Community Theatre inducted Kevin Booth (Gosford Musical Society), Alan Mundy (Miranda Musical Society and Guild Theatre), Janice Harris (Orange Theatre Company) and Peter Fordham (GRAPA - Griffith) into its Hall of Fame.
