Col Peet has been building theatre sets — often with his brother Bob — that are used in productions across Australia. But his contribution to the arts goes far beyond carpentry. Col has been a pioneer in arts organisation and education, playing key roles in groups including the Canterbury Theatre Guild, The Association of Community Theatre (as its founding CEO), The Newtown School of Performing Arts, and The McDonald College.

His professional theatre career began with J.C. Williamson as a theatre technician, and has spanned major venues, blockbuster musicals, and international festivals.
